· Child hood scenes
· Slow narration
· Few boring scenes
Performance: Sharwanand delivered his best performance in the role of Ram. But undoubtedly one can say Samantha Akkineni steals the show. Samantha presents another new dimension as Jaanu. She looks good especially in the emotional scenes. Sharwanand emotes well too. However he has limited dialogues and mostly his expressions speak. Gauri Kishan and Sai Kiran are fine. Raghu Babu, Sharanya Pradeep, Vennela Kishore have done well in their roles. Others are ok.
Technical: The story of Jaanu is simple and predictable. Cinematography by Mahendiran Jeyaraju is top notch. Every frame and every scene was shot in such a poetic way. The music by Govind Vasanatha is one of plus points of Jaanu. All the songs carried the emotions very well. His Background music touches the heart. Editing by Praveen KL is smooth and have no flaws. Coming on the work of Prem Kumar, once again he became successful to impress the movie lovers.
Analysis: Jaanu is a soulful love saga.
