Ranarangam is a gangster drama in which  Sharwanand, Kajal Aggarwal and Kalyani Priyadarshan are playing the lead role. The movie directed by Sudheer Varma has hit the theatres today on 15th August 2019. Let’s see the story of Ranarangam.

Story: Deva (Sharwanand) is a  big gangster in Spain. He remembers his own flashback and film goes back to 1995 in Vizag. Deva starts the liquor business and starts to earn good money. He finds himself to be at the wrong side local MLA Simhachalam (Murali Sharma). While all this is happening, Deva also falls in love with Geetha (Kalyani Priyadarshan). How Deva becomes a gangster and what happens to Geetha, form the rest of the story.

Performance: Sharwanand is the heart and soul of Ranarangam.  He is in the role of the gangster has delivered brilliant performance. His gate-up and action are highlighted. His chemistry with Kalyani Priyadarshan is a treat to watch on screen. Murali Krishna is the main villain and he has done justice to their roles and is the asset of the film.  Kajal Aggarwal looks good on the screen. Rest of the cast performed accordingly.

Technical:  The storyline of Ranarangam is interesting.  The writer has written the hero’s characterization well and made sure that the entertainment episodes have come out well. The comedy has worked well.  Music by Prashant Pillai is engaging with nice beats and youthful songs. The picturization is also impressive. Art direction is decent. The production values are good. The producers have spent huge money. The editing is good.

Analysis:  On the whole, Ranarangam is a good gangster drama. Go and watch it.
