 Plus Points:

·         Naga Shaurya

·         Jisshu Sen Gupta

·         Post interval

·         Climax

Minus Points:

·         Songs

Performance: Naga Shaurya, who  is popular for playing the role of love boy, tried a different role this time. He  did decent work. Jisshusen Gupta is fit in the role of psycho villain. The lady who played Naga’s sister role is decent.  Posani Krishna Murali was seen in couple of scenes. Mehreen Pirzada is ok in the role of Naga Shaurya’ girl friend. Rest of the cast performed accordingly.

Technical:  The story of Aswathama is interesting. It is hard to understand the rationale behind the scenes in which villain was shown having s*x with the dead bodies in mortuary. There are many other better ways to show the villain as a psycho without being so terrible. There are two sister sentiment songs, one duet with Mehreen Pirzada  and another background montage song . Anal Arasu the stunt choreographers did a good  job. Manojh Reddy did a decent job with his lens. Editing is good. The debutant director Ramana Teja did a decent job  with this film. The production values are good.

Analysis:  Naga Shaurya and Mehreen Pirzada starrer Ashwathama is a dark film for its serial rape and murders theme.
