Jana Sena President Pawan Kalyan met Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in New Delhi on Wednesday and explained to her the economic and political situation in the Andhra Pradesh State. JSP Chief Pawan Kalyan claimed there was no Central government consent for the Jagan Mohan Reddy government’s three-capital move.
After the meeting Pawan Kalyan interacted with media and said, “YSRC claims it is shifting the capital in consultation with the Centre. That is not the case. This is a State government decision. They did not speak about this to the Centre. YSRCP leaders are defaming the central government with their lies. Amaravati is an issue that affects 5 Cr people of the state.” He added, “Jana Sena Party has been opposed to the YSRCP government’s decision to decentralise the capital, and has been supporting the protesting farmers in Amaravati.”
