In a big jolt to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy led YSRCP government who chalked out strategies to establish the Executive Capital in Vizag after Indian Navy expressed its dismay over the capital to Vishakhapatnam. Telugu Desam Party leader Bonda Uma reacted on this matter and he alleged that the Indian Navy in Vizag wrote a letter to Andhra Pradesh government expressing their severe objection towards establishing executive capital in Vishakhapatnam and alleged that they would not give any permissions regarding it.
Telugu Desam Party leader added that after objections from the Indian Navy, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has withdrawn his decision of executive capital to Vizag. Navy has opposed the idea of making Vishakhapatnam as the state capital as it is in the proximity of INS Kalinga which is very crucial for the security of the nation. INS Kalinga is responsible for preparing, and delivering advanced missiles to ships of the Eastern Fleet.
