Telangana Chief Minister KCR said that the state government has decided to give Rs 100 crore to the RTC to temporarily mitigate the losses. In a major relief to employees of the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation, KCR on Thursday said that the entire 48,000-odd workforce can re-join their duties. KCR said, “We will take care of all the RTC employees and you can all happily go and join back your duties. Thanks to the temporary workers. We will take a decision on the TSRTC after consultation with all stakeholders.”
Telangana CM KCR also proposed that he would personally meet five employees from each depot at Pragathi Bhavan, his residence in Hyderabad. Telangana Rashtra Samithi Chief and CM lashed out at the union leaders who were leading the strike, and said that they had 'misled' the employees.
