Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy on Wednesday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He discussed the plan to have three capitals for the state and the resolution to abolish the Legislative Council. Jagan met with a list of proposals and explained his plans along with his reasons for it. The Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy also invited Narendra Modi to attend a programme in the state on 25th March. This is the occasion of Ugadi, Telugu New Year on which Jagan Mohan Reddy plans to distribute 25 lakhs housing sites for poor families on that day itself.
Jagan Mohan Reddy also presented a 10-point memorandum to the PM Modi for expeditious action by the Central government on issues related to the state. It was a 100 minute meeting. Jagan Mohan Reddy requested Narendra Modi to direct the Union Law Minister to pass orders to process both the Bills as soon as possible.
