Indian software to detect Coronavirus in five seconds

IIT-Roorkee professor claims that he has developed a software which can detect Coronavirus within five seconds using an X-ray scan of the suspected patient. The professor named Kamal Jain  took over 40 days to develop this special software, has filed a patent for the same. He  has approached the Indian Council of Medical Research for a review.

Kamal Jain claimed that the software will not only reduce testing costs but will also reduce the risk of exposure to healthcare professionals. Kamal Jain said, “I developed an artificial intelligence based database after analyzing over 60,000 X-ray scans, including those of coronavirus, pneumonia and tuberculosis patients to differentiate between the kind of chest congestion suffered in these 3 diseases. I also analyzed the chest x-ray database of the US NIH Clinical Center.” There is no verification of his claim by a medical institute.
