The Union Home Minister Amit Shah has taken this as a serious issue and called for a meeting with Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal. The meeting came after Home Minister reviewed the law and order situation in Delhi as a tense situation erupted after the violence took place in the Northeast Delhi. Earlier Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal too had called for an urgent meeting with MLAs of the violence-hit areas, saying he is worried about the prevailing situation in certain parts of Delhi. Violence turned into a battlefield on Monday with frenzied protesters torching houses, shops, vehicles and a petrol pump, and hurling stones. Around 50 people were injured in this violence including several paramilitary and Delhi Police personnel as the violence spiraled in Northeast Delhi over CAA bill.
