Criminal Cases On Elected MLA’s In Telangana State

Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) revealed Criminal Cases against 73 MLA's, who are elected in the new assembly of Telangana. A total number of 119 MLAs have been elected to the state assembly. Among them, 73 people have criminal cases against themselves and also mentioned in their nominations by themselves. That is, 61 percent of the total MLAs have criminal cases against them and now it is increased by 5 percent when compared to the last assembly in 2014, i.e, 56 percent MLAs have criminal cases against them.

According to the parties, criminal cases have been registered against 50 MLAs of TRS,14MLAs  of Congress, two TDP MLAs and six MIM MLAs. Raja Singh is the only MLA elected from BJP, has also revealed the fact that he has criminal cases against him.
