Coronavirus: US death toll tops 5,000

COVID-19 has spread across 200 countries including India and USA. The United States, Italy and Spain have registered more deaths than China, where the Coronavirus outbreak started. The coronavirus death toll surged past 5,000 in the US on Tuesday. One of the government’s top doctors said on Tuesday, “As many as 240,000 people in the US could die from COVID-19 and that’s only with strict social distancing measures in place.”

The death toll in US has crossed 4000. More than 900 person have died from COVID-19 in Manhattan alone.  The country USA has 188,578 confirmed cases. Meanwhile, the other country Germany saw a sharp rise in its death toll over the past 24 hours. On the otherside, the total number of Covid-19 cases in India has reached 2000, including 1769 active cases, while  people have been discharged. As many as 53 people have died because of Coronavirus, Covid-19.
