It is known the news that young and talented actor Vijay Devarakonda launched an apparel brand Rowdy, in association with a Bangalore company. But his Brand clothes have been duplicated by many. Recently Rowdywear Pvt. Ltd, owned by Vijay Devarakonda, had approached City Civil Court at Bangalore alleging the sale of counterfeit ‘Rowdy’ merchandise on website Amazon. According to him, the clothes made by Rowdywear are being sold online on Amazon under the name ‘Generic’. They also alleged that Vijay Deverakonda’s images were being used in the packaging material of the products, thus violating his right to privacy.
On Friday, the Bengaluru court passed an interim judgement ordering e-commerce website Amazon to stop the sale of counterfeit goods which were being passed off as made by Rowdy. This matter will be heard next on 29th March. On the work side, Vijay Deverakonda will be next seen in upcoming movie Dear Comrade. He is also the part of Kranthi Madhav’s upcoming directorial venture.
