Veteran actress Geetanjali Ramakrishna, who had worked in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi films for several decades, passed away . She breathed her last at a private hospital in Hyderabad on 30th October. She passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest. Geetanjali was undergoing treatment at a private hospital near Film Nagar in Hyderabad. She had worked in over 500 films in the various languages including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam.
The last rites of the actress will be performed this evening. Her popular movies are Dr Chakravarthy, Letha Manasulu, Devatha, Letha Manasulu, Gudachari 116, Bobbili Yuddham, and Sambarala Rambabu. She was born at Kakinada in Andhra Pradesh. NTR (Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao) introduced Geetanjali to the silver screen with his directorial venture Seetharama Kalyanam in the year 1961. She married her Ramakrishna and had a son Adit Ramakrshna. May her soul rest in peace!
