The commercial property owned by Salman Khan in the Khar area of suburban Mumbai is currently facing trouble. His property is under scanner by environmental activists. The said building has been rented by a retail food company and the people, who are running the food company want to chop down a tree close by as they feel that it poses as a hindrance and can become a problem during emergencies when it comes to the passage of emergency vehicles.
On the other side, the Green activists have raised an objection to this plea that has been filed with BMC, claiming that the tree doesn’t pose a threat and hence they shouldn’t be given the permission to chop down greenery.
The Green activists claim that the tree doesn’t obstruct anyone from walking or any vehicular movement but added that it does obstruct vehicular movement during emergencies.
The green activists have filed a complaint with BMC against the cutting down of the tree. On the other side, Salman Khan hasn’t commented on the issue yet.
On the work side, currently, Salman Khan is busy in his upcoming movie Bharat, which is scheduled to hit the theatres this June. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Katrina Kaif will be seen sharing the screen space with Salman Khan in this film.
