Ramayan back on TV

Amidst the lockdown,  the fans have been demanding to bring back 90's popular shows like Ramayan and Mahabharata. On Friday morning, the Union Minister Prakash Javadekar on announced that Ramayan is making a comeback on Doordarshan. Later in the day, he announced that they are bringing back BR Chopra' Mahabharat which is going to entertain the TV lovers once again. Now as the people of India are locked down at their homes, they want to go down the memory lane and enjoy Ramayan and Mahabharata on Television.

While Ramayan will be telecast twice from Saturday onward. Mahabharat, Chanakya and Upanishad Ganga will be telecast on DD Bharati.  Prakash Javadekar  tweeted, “Happy to announce that on public demand, we are starting retelecast of 'Ramayana' from tomorrow, Saturday March 28 in DD National, One episode in morning 9 am to 10 am, another in the evening 9 pm to 10 pm. @narendramodi @PIBIndia @DDNational.”
