Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu starrer Badla are going to Kollywood. According to the latest report, Badla is getting remade in Tamil and Trisha Krishnan is being approached for the lead role in the film. Noted Producer Dhananjayan has bought the remake rights of Badla. The sources say that recently the producer approached Trisha Krishnan to play the female lead and if she gives nod, she will be seen reprising the role of Taapsee Pannu. The producer is yet to make an official announcement about the project.
Badla is directed by Sujoy Ghosh and is bankrolled by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment. The story of Badla follows an interview between a lawyer and a businesswoman, in which the latter insists that she is wrongfully framed for the murder of her lover. On the other-side, Trisha Krishnan is currently waiting for the release of Garjanai.
